A RARE AND IMPORTANT BRONZE SEAL. Bendin (also spelled Bendzin or Bedzin), Poland, 19th century. Formerly belonging to the Av HaBezdin Rabbi Yitzchock Kimmelman, who served as a rabbi in Bendin, Poland from 1866 – 1893 (his passing). Rabbi Yitzchock Kimmelman was a follower of the Radishitz (also spelled Radoshitz) hasidic sect. Bendin was home to a litany of hasidic sects.
