149. A RARE AND IMPORTANT SILVER TORAH SHIELD BY PAOLO RUZZOLI. Ancona, Italy, c. 1817-1833 . In the shape of a crown. The upper portion chased with shells, swirls and buds. The lower band is engraved in Hebrew “CROWN OF THE TORAH” and “FIRST SEFER, HOLY UNTO G-D”. 10.7” x 6.7”.
