A LARGE OIL PAINTING BY ZVI RAPHAELI (1924 - 2005)
Israel, c. 1990. Oil on canvas. Religious Jewish Student. 20" x 24". Zvi Raphaeli, (Israeli, 1924-2005) painter and rabbi, educated in Paris from age 3. He studied at Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris and Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. He was a member of the French resistance during WW II.
