A VERY RARE COPPER AND PORCELAIN FAMILY PORTRAIT COLLECTION OF THE FAMILY OF SAMUEL AND ESTHER FRIDENBERG. Philadephia, c. 1890. Samuel M. Fridenberg, was the son of Civil War Era Financier-Pawn Broker, Isaac H. Friedenberg. Samuel M. Fridenberg was a prominent Philadelphia banker and broker. Their family gave one of the largest gifts of the time to the Jewish Hospital. Esther died in 1905 and Samuel died in 1918. Both are buried in the old Mount Sinai Cemetery of Philadelphia. 18” x 12.5”.
