New York, c. 1960. The front is decorated with an engraving of a Hasidic male holding a sefer torah while two young children hold up flags that are inscribed S(inchat) T(orah). Further inscribed in Hebrew: THE TORAH IS LIFE FOR ALL and TREE OF LIFE. The back is inscribed in Hebrew with the former owner’s initials. 2.2” x 1.5”. Signed. Estimate $6,000 – 9,000
