Berlin, 18th century. On four stilt legs that connect to a rectangular shaped body with eight oil sections, each fitted with a wick holder. Engraved with an eagle, and Cohanich hands. Fitted with the original servant lamp. Marked with the maker’s mark of CD, an assay scrape and a Berlin bear mark. 7.7” long and 3.2” tall. Sold J Greenstein and Company, Inc. April 4, 2005, lot 70.
