Venice, 1521. Filled with hand written old notes along the borders. It contains the Five Books of Moses, Nevi’im and Ketuvim. This one volume contains all the twenty four books of Tanach. This edition is printed in a similar style to the first Bomberg printing of Tanach in Venice, 1518. This precludes the book of Tehillim, that was printed in this copy in a format of short lines, with four columns per page. On the inside of the front binding panel: handwritten list of “Psalms to be recited prior to prayers”. Signed underneath: “HaKatan Meir ‘.’ On the back panel of the binding there is a handwritten list of the order of Haftarot according to the Parshiyot. The back endpaper features handwritten ownership listing in ancient Ashkenazi script. 528, [1] leaves (only the title page is missing). Good condition. Until leaf 10, the pages are detached and slightly faded. The rest of the pages are in very good condition. Quality, thick paper with wide margins. Magnificent, original, antique, leather binding.
