91. A LARGE STERLING SILVER KIDDUSH CUP BY LUDWIG WOLPERT. Israel, c. 1955. On a small base with Hebrew lettering “THE NATION THAT SANCTIFIES THE SEVENTH (DAY)”. Marked: Wolpert and Jerusalem in Hebrew and Israel in English as well as 925. A very early version made in Israel of the very popular cup was later produced by the Judaic Heritage Society. 7.7” tall.
