119. A SILVER SPICE CONTAINER. Probably Germany, c. 1840. On a round base with the sphere being held up by three swans. Upper portion of the sphere is cut with lattice work to emit fragrance. Topped with a lion finial holding a bud. Sold J. Greenstein and Company, Inc., October 30, 2006, lot 64. 5.8” tall.
