SIENNA, ITALY. Adar 13, 5504 (1744). On vellum, possibly shaped like a home with a slanted roof. Decorated with a painted floral border. Inscribed along the sides and borders. The groom was Mordechai Isaac, son of the esteemed late Matishayu HaLevi. The bride was Esperanza Tama, daughter of the esteemed, learned and wise Moshe Gallici. This ketubah is the oldest in the Richard collection. Stains, losses and restorations. 35” x 20”.
