A BRASS IVRIAH MENORAH. American, c. 1940. On a tapering rectangular base. With the original servant lamp. Ivriah was a preeminent Jewish women’s organization organized in 1926 to promote Jewish schooling after a study that showed that over 70% of Jewish children did not attend a Jewish school. It also promoted Jewish education for women. 8.8″ tall.
