A LARGE SILVER TORAH SHIELD. Berlin c. 1860. Hand chased with swirling borders Solomonic pillars and checkerboard design. Affixed with the Decalogue lions a crown and a portion plaque holder. Inscribed in Hebrew: "ISRAEL SON OF RABBI MESHULUM" and "PARSHAS LECH LECHA 1869". 11.7" tall x 10.3" wide.
