A bronze sculpture by steffi friedman “never again.” Steffi friedman was 11 in 1936 when nazi laws began to affect jewish life in her native berlin. Two years later, she and her family fled the country, when she was nearly 14. She went on to become an artist and educator, gaining international recognition as a sculptor. In 2004, she created “never again,” a bronze relief for temple israel in westport, connecticut.
