A LARGE SILVER TORAH SHIELD BY R AND J WEERING. Groningen, 1902 – 1906. Chased with a cloud-like formation decorated with trumpets and shofars protruding from a large main Decalogue. Topped with a handsome crown. Engraved with a dedication inscription to the holy community of Pekela from the woman’s society, ​Bigdei Kodesh,​ and dated 1906. 12″ tall.
