73. A LARGE SILVER TORAH CROWN BY ISAAK SZEKMAN. Warsaw, c. 1895. The lower band is chased with decorative embossments. Engraved with Hebrew dedication “this crown was donated by the dear teller (of Torah) Avrohom Hillel, son of Rabbi Kalman of good memory to the Chevra Kadischa in memory of his wife M. Liba Gittel who passed on Shabbos Kodesh, Tammuz 14, 1895.” The body is decorated with six lions, chrysanthemums, stags’ heads, and clover shaped ribs.
