A RARE AND IMPORTANT GILDED SILVER FILIGREE MEGILLAH CASE WITH ORIGINAL MEGILLAH. Ottoman Empire, 19th century. The body made of finely spun gilded filigree wire work. The megillah section encased in original removable cover. Topped by a crown shaped upper portion and coral finial. With a hand written megillah in exceptional script and decorated with floral decorations. 15″ long.
