A SILVER SPICE CONTAINER. Continental, 19th century. The solid silver base is engraved in Hebrew: “THIS SPICE RECEPTACLE WAS GIVEN BY CHANA DAUGHTER OF CHACHAM YEHOSHUA, THE WIFE OF YOSEF”. Upper portion in filigree sphere shape. Topped with a conical tower and a second filigree sphere. 5.2″ tall.
