On the verso it is engraved: FROM THE INTERNATIONAL WAILING WALL COMMISION TO MR. W. SHAFTARI JERUSALEM JUNE/JULY 1930. The 1930 Western Wall Commision was set up by Great Britain in response to the question of the ownership of the Kotel. Mr. Shaftari was an interpreter during the commission. 3.2” x 3.5”.
