An exceptionally rare silver amuletic necklace. Middle east, late 19th or early 20th century. The upper casing (1.5” x 1.6”) chased with near-eastern decoration, housing a parchment amulet. The bottom (1.7” x 1.5”) , fitted with two hamsas and a heart shaped second housing, engraved on the back in hebrew and chased with a fish on the front. Estimate $800 – 1,200
