AN EXTREMELY LARGE ANTIQUE BAROQUE MENORAH. American, c. 1930. Silver plated. Recently restored and replated with the original servant lamp. Formerly owned by Rabbi Jacob Pressman of Los Angeles. Rabbi Pressman was a rabbi at the Forest Hills Jewish Center, an associate rabbi of Sinai Temple and the Olympic Jewish Center – Temple Beth Am. He was active in the civil rights movement in Selma, Alabama with Martin Luther King and was a leader in the Soviet Jewry movement. Recently replated. 30” tall.
